Description

The classic Fristads work trouser in black made from FAS® heavy cotton twill, The FAS-250 Is the premier trouser in the FAS range.  The FAS-250 trouser is similar to the FAS-255K but with all the extra options (explaining the additional cost).  For example, the side and back pockets have a bellows pleat giving them extra width and depth.  These trousers have an additional pocket on the right ankle; great if your working on your knees!  The feature that FAS-250 customers love the best?  the knee pad pockets allow you to adjust the height of the knee pad- ensuring it sits squarely on the knee...  work trouser bliss!   

FAS Is Fristads best twill in 100% cotton, the fabric weighs 375g/m2 (so not for those working in hot climates) and it is pre shrunk.  FAS is so tough that the weave could not be any closer tighter.  As such, they can seem quite rigid when you first get them but they relax into an incredibly comfortable and the ultimate hard wearing work trouser.  When it comes to durability, including abrasion resistance and tear and tensile strength, FAS produces the highest values for cotton goods.  If you’re looking for a good investment and excellent value- these are the work trousers for you.  As they say at Fristads- twice the wear is twice the value!

Does it offer any protection?

The Codura found on the knees and inside the nail pockets is an incredibly tough ballistic nylon which makes these very hard wearing protecting the trousers from ripping or damage

How do I look after it?

 

You can wash these trousers on an 85 degree wash, you can iron them and they can go in the tumble drier.  They do not stand up to chlorine bleaching and we don’t recommend dry cleaning

 

How will it fit me?

 

Swedish garments are notoriously snug and the FAS range can be quite stiff when you first get them. We’ve played around with the sizes and feel confident that if you’re 34” waist and you order a 34” waist pair then they’ll fit.  But please do measure your waist and don't base your size on trousers you've bought from fashion outlets- their sizing seems to be very generous!
