Description

The toughest, original, iconic work trouser that’s unique to you and the work you put them through.  Made with the highest quality 12 Oz. firm hand 100% ring spun cotton duck.  Cotton Duck is an incredibly tough, plain cotton which is used for all sorts of applications where durability is key.  With these trousers, the cotton duck fabric gives you a stiff fabric that loosens up after a few washes but looses none of its strength.  As this is an untreated cotton, expect some shrinkage when you first wash them.  The material is designed to fade over the first few washes to give the trouser a unique character- so wash separately the first few washes 

The Carhartt B01 work trouser is made with YKK rivets on every stress point (including back and front pockets) and has a solid YKK zip.  All seams are triple stitched and it has a hammer loop and pockets on either thigh.  As you can see from the images, these trouser have a "chap-style" double front for additional protection; essentially an extra layer of material covering the top of the shin, the knees and the thighs.

Who is this for?

 

These trousers are seriously hard wearing and are designed for a classic American workwear look.  we sell a lot of these into carpenters, electricians and building contractors.  But, in truth, they're for anyone who wants a pair of trousers to last years 

Does it offer any protection?

The Cotton Duck fabric is very tightly woven so will be very hard to rip.  In addition the extra material over the thighs and knees is designed to protect the trouser from excessive abrasion- meaning they last even longer

How do I look after it?

 

You can wash this garment on a warm wash (30-60 degrees), it can be tumble dried at a medium temperature. do not bleach or tumble dry 

*IMPORTANT NOTICE*  This garment has undergone a special process which results in variations of shading and colour.  These variations are intended and add to the unique characteristics of this garment.  It is recommended this garment be washed seperately until no further colour is released and that discretion be used when worn with lighter apparel.

 

How will it fit me?

 

These trouser are made big- American style! on the flip side, they will shrink when you first wash them.  We recommend you order your normal size, don't be surprised if they seem too big when they first arrive.  Stick them on the wash and if they still don't fit you can always return them 

When will I get it?

 

This is a UK stock item.  Delivery to you from our UK warehouse is next working day. If we do not have the stock in the UK, delivery from Europe will be 7-10 working days.  Cost of carriage is £4.70 to the UK- if you order over £100 carriage is free.  

 

For products with a total value of less than £100 > 7-10 days for delivery; carriage costs £4.80

For products with a total value of £100 or over > 7-10 days for delivery; carriage free of charge
